This is a quilt that is made out of t shirts. This was a special order from a customer that had saved up t shirts for quite a few years. She was in the army and was in Iraq, and Germany. She had t shirts from most of her travels. This is 1 of 2 quilts I am making. This quilt is made of the t shirts from the different schools and events in which she participated and the other quilt (not finished yet) will be of her army life, so stay tuned. Oh she also went to a Tina Turner concert and bought a tshirt. Can you see that shirt?
This quilt measures 90"x 105"

Ohh!About my post...hmmmmm....I wish I had a decent explanation for you but the only thing that comes to my mind is:That Spanish people are nuts!LOL!What in the world gave to them the idea of building a village in such place?!LOL!
I'm Portuguese ans I know that Spain is our neighbor country, but that is wacky!
Have a great weekend.

wow a great idea i'm such a horder when it comes to things like tshirts and baby clothes so doing something like this would be a great way of not throwing it away and making something a little more practical, or i'll not cos im very lazy lol
Wow, can't wait till things get more settled for me, I have a ton of shirts that I've had waiting to make one of these. Now that I see the potential the have (not that mine would be nearly as awesome as yours) I'm soooo itching to get started!!!
Very original idea! Love your work and will be adding you to my Etsy Favs!
Uoh!! Such a great idea!
Makes me wanna make one too. lol!
Looks Great! Someday I'll get around to making one...
Oh I love this. Did you make it with a serger? I wanted to do this for all my kiddos with their little clothes from when they were very young and the shirts were worn and stained... But, my serger quit and I had it fixed twice and it still didn't work... then my DH took the boxes of clothes to the thrift store. I'm sure they are getting loved anyway, lol!
Such a great way to keep memories :)
